So, the Blind Sheik, Omar Abdel-Rahman is said to be in poor health and nearing death (read more here). Rahman, of course, is a "spiritual advisor" (aka preacher of hate, bigotry, and violence) to al Qaeda and was imprisoned for his role in the World Trade Center Bombings. Currently he is being held in the US Medical Center for Prisons in Missouri where he is being treated for diabetes. The Feds fear that his death could trigger terror attacks against the US.
Now, I am among the first to say we should deal harshly with terrorists, but come on! This man is old and frail and blind. Sure he's an Islamofascist, but he deserves some dignity. Therefore, I have a solution that should satisfy him, the terrorists who may use his death as an excuse to attack us (as if they needed an excuse), hard-core anti-islamists and even the left.
Let's let him die with dignity (the left is all in favor of euthenasia). My solution is to strap a bomb to the blind sheik and wheel his gurny out to some vacant lot somewhere and set the bastard off! He will die a glorious martyr's death and we won't have to waste another dime on medicating this worthless piece of trash. We could call it physician assisted suicide bombing.
It's a win, win, win, win situation, everyone is happy and we have one less Islamofascist piece of crap in the world.

We Need More Muslims Like These
A PLO terrorist-turned Israel defender and born again Christian was on Michael Medved's radio show today. He is a vocal opponent of terrorism and the way extremist Muslims are using the "Palestinian Cause" to wage war on Israel. He sees through the lies of the Islamofascists and calls it what it is, plain old antisemitism. He is also a testimony to the redemption that can be found in Christ.
His name is Walid Shoebat, and you should pay attention to what he is saying and trying to do. The US needs to find people like this to be our allies in the war on terror. Of course, in his native land he would be killed as a traitor to his faith. I found an interview with him at Everyday Gospel Magazine and he has some disturbing things to say about what we are up against.
Shoebat's website features others who feel as he does, that the Palestinian cause is a front for Jew hatred and that the Palestinians themselves are among the victims of this cause:
1. Salma Abdallah is an Israeli Arab who states emphatically that "Israeli Arabs are the only Arabs that have any rights anywhere in the Middle East."
2. Ahmad Al-Qloushi is a Kuwaiti-born Arab who grew up to view America as a liberator and great nation. He later came to the United States to study at Foothills College in Los Altos Hills, CA and was the subject of some blogosphere activity a few years ago over a professor's reaction to a .pro-founding fathers essay he authored. Whatever that situation involved, Qloushi shows that rational thinking can exist in the Arab world.
3. Zachariah Anani is another convert to Christianity, who was once a militant Muslim in Lebanon.
Hey, at least we have a handful of Arabs who are willing to stand up in the face of potentially lethal consequences and oppose the blind hate that is driving so many of their fellow Arabs to destroy themselves and others. It gives one hope, however slim, that someday their views could become the majority opinion. Until then, we need to fight in the realm of ideas and wherever else Islamofascism rears its head.

Wake up and realize what is happening. When you see TV footage of crowds chanting death to America or burning American Flags we need to be aware that those numbers are actually a lot larger than we think. You are being led to believe that it is a very small percentage of Muslims maybe only 15 percent. In fact that is a big mistake! The actual figure is over 73 percent of Muslims that share those views of Jihad world wide. Those figures do not come from me but from the Arab surveys from the Al'arbia Network a very reputable Arab media that surveyed 113,000 Muslims in the middle-east. Over 73 percent of those surveyed chose Hamas as representation for the Palestinian people. That over 73 percent of the Muslims in the middle-east want the rise of the "Caliphate".

By now, you've likely heard about the plot by a home-grown Islamofascist to attempt to kill Christmas shoppers at the Cherryvale Mall in Rockford, IL.
This is real close to home folks! Rockford is hardly my first choice shopping destination, but I can be there in less than an hour. Genoa, where the terror suspect, Derrick Shareef recently resided is a place I have been many times. As for his consideration of other targets in and around DeKalb, Illinois, including our County Courthouse in Sycamore; well we're talking my backyard.

No, we're talking about a convert who was radicalized right here in the heart of the Midwest. Who lived recently in Genoa, IL. We're talking quaint little main streets where almost everyone knows everybody else. This is lazy Sunday afternoons and church bake sales. Genoa has a population of less than 5,000. Every summer they have a little town festival right downtown complete with the crowning of local high school kids as Genoa Days king and queen. In otherwords, if radical Islam has found its way here, you can bet you've got a problem in your neck of the woods too!
What I am getting tired of is all the stories about how Shareef, who identified himself in a pre-attack video tape as Talib Abu Salam Ibn Shareef (read the full FBI afidavit here) "acted alone." Sorry to disagree, but nobody in such cases is acting alone. The radical ideas came from somewhere. According to reports Shareef's mother worried about her son's conversion to Islam and growing interest in radicalism.
Liberals used to love telling us how prejudice and hate are learned attitudes. We could stop racism through teaching tolerance, etc. Well, now they seemingly want to ignore all that talk and tell us that radical Islam is spawned from oppression, pro-Israeli policies by our government and all other sorts of drivel to make excuses for the extremists. Shareef was not oppressed, nor was he lashing out against an unjust system that had victimized him. No, he had filled his soul with an ideology of hate, murder and martyrdom based on a religious/political ideology. You can be sure that other young Muslims in the US are similarly being indoctrinated even as you read this. You haven't heard the last of such plots; elsewhere in America other disciples of the same ideology are plotting just as Shareef was. God willing, we'll nab them before they carry out their plans too.
We need to be grateful to the FBI and other authorities for this. Thank God they identified and put this man under surveillance. Please remember how this type of surveillance prevented the loss of innocent life the next time you hear some ACLU type tell you that "domestic surveillance" violates this or that civil liberty. I want the FBI to have informants and electronic monitoring in every Mosque in America. As the Democrats take control, we would do well to pay close attention so that they do not strip our law enforcement officials of the tools which help them stop these terrorists before they can kill innocents.

Go Home Gwyneth - I Mean Stay Home - The Home You Prefer to America That Is
So, American capitalism is distaseful to Gwyneth Paltrow? Well then, give back the American movie-going public their money you twit! I love it when people whose entire position in life has been a result of their being blessed enough to live here turn on America with their oh-so-superior attitude. This moron deserves to be Dixie-chicked by American movie fans big-time. You are free to say whatever you want, and we are free to dislike you for it!

Mahmoud the Stud
The President of Iran, so noble and righteous, the epitome of Islamic virtue has been caught eyeing burqaless babes!
Apparently Mr. Ahmadinejad forgot to pack his convictions when he travelled abroad to attend the opening of the Asian Games in Qatar according to
The Guardian. The president sat at the stadium watching as women sang and danced for he and the rest of the crowd in violation of sharia law. Hardliners in Iran are now questioning his behavior. He was accompanied, according to the article by leaders of Syria and Palestinians.
Perhaps he should take a cue from former President Clinton: "I was at the ceremony, but I didn't enjoy the dancers and I kept my eyes closed." At the very least, we now know that Clinton and Mahmoud share some common ground on which to begin diplomacy. Bush should appoint Clinton as a special envoy, then bring Ahmadinejad to the US and the two could go out on the town and pick up chicks before sitting down for talks. "Hey Mahmoud, you drop your nuclear program and I'll introduce you to some American babes, and I'll bring the cigars!"
On the other hand, maybe he should show contrition and offer an apology to the oh so forgiving Muslim hardliners. Or maybe an open letter to his people: "Noble Iranians, your leader is a hypocrite and a fake who forces you to live under oppression while he cavorts in foreign lands."
It makes me wonder though, if the hardliners decide to stone him to death, will Alec Baldwin fly to Tehran to participate? After all we know how much he loves the idea of a good stoning.

Holy Book Desecration Unleashes Violence
Or: This would be true if a certain other religion's holy book had been treated this way...
What? You haven't heard about this rioting? Well, that's because it didn't happen, at least not all of it. Muslim students did indeed desecrate the Holy Bible and non-Muslim teachers at the East Preston Islamic College have indeed reported that hate is being taught and that they have been harassed by their Muslim students. But the Christians did not riot, there were no edicts and no beatings.
You see, the extremists like to claim they are the victim. It is the West's Islamophobic culture that overreacts and persecutes them. Thus Imams who chant anti-American slogans and pray loudly to Allah are victims. Yet, an act of utter contempt by these Australian students failed to unleash the virulent Islamophobia we are told the West is guilty of.
But, ask yourself this question. What if it had been a Koran that had been desecrated. Would those who ascribe to the "religion of peace" have petitioned the school administration? I think we all know the answer, there would have been riots, there would have been deaths. There would have been more signs calling for the beheading of all who insult Islam:
Remember when Newsweek had to apologize for unleashing Muslim rage around the world with their false report of US Soldiers at Gitmo flushing the Koran down a toilet?
Or, consider the case of Naseem Bibi of Pakistan. Arrested on blasphemy charges which have been dropped Bibi was arrested in March according to The Pakistan Christian Post after being beaten and stripped by a Muslim mob. Her crime was opposing the mob for placing a cross on a garbage heap during protests over the Danish cartoons. Bibi gives her account of the incident here.
After beating her, they left but later returned with a picture of an Islamic holy site that had been defecated upon. This mob was in the process of lynching the woman when police arrived and arrested her for the desecration of the image. This woman is now free but to return to her home would invite attacks by the very extremists who trumped up that charges against her.
Try to remember such things the next time you are told that Islam is not violent and that the terrorists are not motivated by their faith to commit acts of violence.
Australia - Christian mobs continued a violent spree for the second day following the desecration of the Holy Bible by three Muslim students at an Islamic school in Melbourne. The incident involved the tearing and burning of pages from the Bible, spitting on the book, and urinating on it.
Two of the students have been expelled from the school while the third was suspended. Non-Muslim teachers at the school have reported frequent harassment and have urged school administrators to take action against what they call "a deep hatred inculcated in the students" which they claim is a regular feature of the school.
Christians incensed by the desecration of their holy book during the holy Lenten Season lashed out with large demonstrations in Melbourne which soon spread to other cities. At least one Christian cleric has issued a religious edict calling for the death of the perpetrators. Violence has been sporadic but at least three mosques have been burned and in Sydney a Muslim man was hospitalized after being beaten by an angry Christian mob.
